The Santa Ana School District is planning on easing graduation requirements as a way of lowering the dropout rate. What a splendid idea. Perhaps they can just get a certificate instead of having to actually graduate and that would solve the problem totally. Whatever happened to EXCELLENCE IN EDUCATION?

That is such a ridiculous way of dealing with a problem and does nothing for the students. No wonder why kids are barely able to make it through college when the High School system is failing them so much.
How about spending the time and resources to teach these people how to be better students and stop treating them like idiots.
