none of it matters in the end. if this turns out to be true, we are merely a four dimensional shadow in this five dimensional space. If thats true we are as insignificant as the light that falls on the ground through a window in our world. And by we I mean our universe, who we as a species, have essentially no impact on whatsoever. And in our species we have very limited impact, so stretching this out to eleven dimensions gives us a finite plane to interact in, but we will never be able to. We are trapped in our four dimensions, and the fact is that even if we somehow manage to prove string theory, we will never be able to manipulate higher dimensions, which will be where everything takes place. I think therefore I am is a striking and simple statement, and all of us do exist, but in the grand scheme of beyond the cosmos, none of us exist. We are unable to change the course of our brane as we exist today, so by the end of the lives of everybody reading this, nothing will have changed and you will have made no impact on the entire universe. We will most likely never be able to manipulate the fabric of 11 dimensional space, but even if we did, what would it accomplish? nothing. We could potentially spark other big bangs in other dimensional space, but in the end, there is really no point to doing any of that. In reality, you must look to personal faith (whether in a god or in science) to determine the purpose of being. There is no purpose in ripping the fabric of spacetime. It requires a ton of energy unavailable currently, and it would do about as much good in the grand scheme of things as changing the path of a speck of dust in our universe. That, we can agree, is pointless. No matter what happens with the other specks it runs into, there is really no goal. Then the point in life, and the reason to be, exists in our four dimensions. Is it to understand, is it faith? Personally, I believe this discussion must stem out of quantum. I hate the argument "i cannot explain it through experiment, so it must be god" because that was the error for centuries, made over and over with light, electricity, gravity. Quantum is ruled by probability, by chance, there is no certainty. I used to think everything could be predicted, that if you knew the velocity of every atom and subatomic particle, along with its position and spin, through the four fundamental forces you could calculate every collision and interaction and therefore predict everything in the universe (given enough time). Quantum rocked this opinion when it became a given that this was impossible to do, uncertainty and probability is a law of nature. Its impossible to predict stuff like that, all that can be done is calculate the chance that something will happen. So why does a certain event happen, I say that is fate, or free will. Personally, I reconcile and agree both take place in those microscopic things, that they are influenced by a power that we do not understand. Even string theory cannot predict without probability, and so far no theory has. If that is proven that probability is not a fundamental flaw of nature, then that, in my opinion is god. In that space, what 'chooses' is fate, free will, and its all guided by the hand of god. I don't want of it to be thought of as a guy in the sky calling the shots, whatever it turns out to be, that is what I pray to. so if anything matters, it is in that probability, not in the existence of branes, although in discovering these branes we get a better understanding of what does and what doesnt matter in the universe, so it is not useless to probe.
In my perspective there is only existence, and We have grown into to existence... not by choice but by chance, we are simply nothing more than a random possibility of what the universe has to offer... and over time we have evolved and adapted to our planet we now call Earth. Over time we have become intelligent and we now know that somewhere in the universe there are still many more possibility's. What we know is also what we think we know... in other words none of it really matters simply because we are just another form of existence and we are just too concerned to realize that, and in time... which never ends and never stops existence will never fully be understood because there is too much to learn and too little we already know... this planet we call Earth was also created by chance... there is simply no boundaries, no limits, no way to explain existence, But in the reality we now know as life there are things we consider to be meaningful which have ultimately blinded us from the truth we want to ignore, and the truth we can't explain... time will continue and we will continue with it and existence is always by chance, we just don't know what we are and why we can think and why we feel the way we do... even our very own existence is endangered by ourselves, things like warfare and weapons are intended for destruction and have caused the deaths of countless lives. We are simply nothing more than a form of nature entangled with existence and time. Our existence is by chance and perhaps there is more to existence than we think and as time unfolds we stand on our planet Earth and continue to find and search for answers to questions we may never know. As time continues we will learn and continue to evolve and existence will always exist and we will never know why or even how, everything is entangled with time and existence and nothing is entangled with understanding existence... simply because we will never know what existence is.
