What's the deal with doctors and appointment times? You are required to have an appointment and yet all too often you are kept waiting. Today it was an hour before the doctor appeared - for my son - and while I wanted to give him my uncensored thoughts on the wait, I did not; my son asked me nicely not to. Had someone told me that they were delayed I could have endured the wait, but I guess that common courtesy is no longer needed. In contrast, if I came an hour late, not only would my slot have been given to another patient, but there would have been a fee for inconveniencing his excellency, the doctor.
I have seen this all too frequently. The customer is not important in an over-crowded world; there are many other sheep happily waiting. Baaaaaaaa

I feel exactly as you do and HAVE been charged by a doctor when I've been too late for an appointment. Maybe we should start deducting from their fees in 15 minute increments when they are late seeing us!
