THOUGHTS FROM A CAR - AND AN I O U!

It is hot enough to tan lightly. I am parked outside the high school waiting for one son to get in. And the state is not going to be paying cash for your services (you public employees you) and, instead will be issuing an I O U. What can I say? An appropriate response might well be one letter shorter, replacing the I and the O with an F because honestly the shame of the state is quite apparent in the insanity running state government. Will the feds accept an IOU when it comes time to pay your taxes? I doubt even the state will accept its own paper.

Sitting here I have to wonder how we are going to get out of this mess. Education suffers - just wait to see the MDUSD wiggling on the budget hook, not to mention everyone wanting to claim the pound of flesh to fulfill their own agendas.

Everyone has an agenda and if they don't, someone will find an agenda to impose upon them.

Yes it is hot outside, but I suspect the real heat is just beginning.
