I always appreciate finding others who are concerned about helping children become readers.
That's because I grew up as a reluctant reader. And my father was the author of over 70 books. Now I write action-adventure and mystery books especially for tween boys. My blog, Books for boys, http://booksandboys.blogspot.com is # 4 on Google today.
I love rainbows. I can not recall seeing any of them when I grew up in New York City, until I was 17-18 and then I was on the 'EL' going when I saw one brilliant as can be, I got out at the next station just to stare at it for a long time.
Here in Concord I have seen a lot of rainbows including some doubles and even a triple on Hwy 24. They still make me smile. Sort of the sky's way of apologizing for raining on you.

The rainbow ended in the PG&E pole. PG&E is pretty golden. ;>)

Hi Max,
Always happy to plug your site. If you are up for an email interview, I'd be happy to post a blog entry of it.
