Thanks to our friend Shauna for sharing this little piece of insanity with us. From Quebec comes the news that a 6th grade spoiled brat product of divorce, wanting to go on a field trip that mommy had approved, gets grounded by daddy during his custodial time, for breaking his rules about the Internet and decides to sue his ass for being mean. By itself that is crazy enough. She wins in court. Twice. This is a story I would expect to hear about here. She sued him because she doesn't respect his rules. It is bad enough that schools lack the authority to enforce student conduct when parents do not care enough to act like...parents; but to now learn that parents are no longer allowed to parent because a court will back the kid over the parent is absurd.
