THE RESULTS ARE IN: THIS IS THE FIRST DAY OF THE REST OF OUR LIVES. LONG LIVE THE DESIRE TO BE BETTER THAN THE MEDIOCRITY WE HAVE ENDURED.

What can I say? It is time to start a new revolution, one geared to making education a quality of value, beyond the politicians ability to play with it as a political tool, beyond uncertain funding. Beyond bullshit testing for the sake of meeting half-assed, underfunded political goals that are fundamentally meaningless anyway.

Take heart that the war is not over; it has yet to begin. And in the end, with the right amount of support, we may take back our right to be leaders in the global economy and strive to create a generation worthy of that task. It is time to end all entitlement, remove all excuses, dispel those who try to milk the system and stand up to the inequities created by fear of lawsuits. The needs of them any outweigh the needs of the one.

Are you up for the challenge? There are no other options.

The Revolution will soon be the exodus of families not only leaving our district (because of a failing Measure D, lower home values/foreclosures, unemployment), but also leaving California. This state is a mess. It may be a beautiful state, but economics rule to where one will reside.
