THERE IS SO MUCH OF OUR TRASH FLOATING AROUND IN SPACE THAT THIS SHUTTLE MISSION IS IN DANGER - a second shuttle is standing by just in case.

Humanity is good at several things; waging war and generating trash. Such is the case with space debris that threatens to damage the Space Shuttle Atlantis while astronauts attempt to repair the Hubble Space Telescope. In fact, the danger is so big that the mission was once canceled and now requires a second shuttle on standby to rescue the astronauts should the Atlantis get damaged. Do you think that means we have left a mess in space? The first shuttle leaves tomorrow.
